Walkerburn, like many borders town and villages is lucky to celebrate an annual summer festival. The first festival was held in 1932, from which it has grown into a week long event celebrating community and friendship.

The festival takes place at the end of June, a time when you’ll see houses decorated with black and red bunting. Further to this, the Walkerburn Summer Festival committee organise events throughout the year, bringing the young people of the village together with Christmas, Halloween and Easter parties,
